My paintings reflect a fascination for amazing scenery , unique viewpoints, illusions dreamscapes and other worlds.

I love to work with strong contrasts, bold and vibrant colors. My favored subjects are widen open scenery, big horizons, weather and most of all I love to mock create new vistas, spaces, places, or creatures generally not viewable with my eyes. I capture moments that seem like poetry and strive to inspire joy for life, creativity, imagination and Illusion. I work with traditional brush and paint, and I also paint digital. I love to explore the the 'old' and combine it with the new. I also enjoy bringing stories to life with vibrant and beautiful images, and specialize in children's, book, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery illustrations.

I was born and raised in Switzerland. Although primarily self taught, my artist career started at age 15 with formal training in Heraldic Arts* under a master. (Heraldic Art or Heraldry means the art, practice, or science of recording genealogies, and blazoning coat of arms) Further inspired by old masters and surrealists I broadened my scope from Heraldic Art to Fine Art, Illustration and Design. I love travel, adventure and mingling with other cultures. Together with my husband Jim and dog Cosmo I have made Clearwater, Florida my permanent home.
